Solving rear main seal oil leaks BBC MKIV

Got to reading article on Hot rod engine tech regarding UK company called GST RACING SEALS which is making one piece rear seal for BBC and
is designed to be cut and twisted around the crankshaft for installation. While this seems extreme, it is in fact a brilliant solution

I'm thinking about trying a couple of the seals out,
Received quote for the rear seal: US$65+postage.
Thought I would share the article

I had one leak. Rope type. I sat there with a hammer and seated it real good in the main cap. Old 389 engine back when GTO's could be had for 200 bucks. Seal peed like the proverbial race horse. But man I wish I didn't leave that 65 convert on the Memphis Navy base for junk...
