It has been done. Usually to make a mold, not run the boat. It would be a zillion times easier with 2 of the same hull so you didn't have to fab the extra length from scratch. But that would still be possible by pulling a mold off the hull either in front of or just aft of the cut point. Very large undertaking with good chance of you saying heck with this halfway through. What boat you starting with?

Sunsation did it, when they created the F4 from a Powerplay 38 remnant; which is NLA.

It's a 1988 GW Invader bravo 200SS. And my plan is to use this as a plug and make a mold from it.

how much longer ? is there another model / brand that is that length already and would just need deck / cockpit mods ?
if you end up popping a mold for the part to cut and stretch the boat please photo document it and put up thread on here

i think this is the thread were the sides were cut off and changed and the boat was stretched (ive seen that thread / those pics on offshoreonly)

We took a 20 foot Bertram Center Console and stretched it to 22 feet just because we could and the customer wanted it.

So you want to turn a 20 gw invader into a mold to make 22 or 23 gw invaders? Are you making one for yourself, or planning on producing these? Aren't there enough 22 or 23 cuddy or bow riders out there? I know of a free 22 crownline in my marina in jersey. Just cuz it can be done doesn't mean it is a good idea...

Well obviously if I go through the trouble of making it longer and wider, I'm going to change the looks of it totally. I'll completely build my own deck and change the swim platform area as well.

Out safari that is exactly what I want to do. Take what I have and add my own style. Thanks for posting that.
