I screwed with it for half a damn season. Drilling holes, restrictor plates, etc.....I got tired of dicking with it and went back to no stats. at least I know I'm getting a good flush when I'm back on the lift.

I wouldn't go over 140 temp even though water isn't that warm the heads build a lot of heat . Drill the holes. Like i said im using 4 . 3/32 holes but going to open them up. Also cp has 120 high flow t stats for 40 bucks each.also seems like it takes a while for t stats to settle in . Maybe boil them a few times before installing them. Mine fluctuated around until i drove it a few times up to temp for a while
