Default New transom, x dimension for bravo one???

I have a 1969 sea ray pachanga that I just redid the transom and stringers on. I am going to cut the hole for a bravo one drive soon and don't know what my x dimension should be around. Boat is only 19ft long, similar to the size of an 18 donzi but with a deeper V. Boat will be powered by a 420hp 454 which I am going to mock up to see how high I can go to clear my engine hatch. Can anyone share with me what they are running for an x on a Similar setup or give me some insight?

I would set it up with the propshaft 3-4 inches below the bottom.

3-4 inches will probably give you the best planning and cruising results. Good luck and be sure to take as many measurements as you can to square everything up!

If you go with 3" or even higher, you can always use a spacer to go lower.
