Default hull wax

Hi all, well not sure between fresh water and salt but is there a good hull wax for below the waterline that stays on without having to reapply to often , thanks.

No idea. I'm probably one of the few that occasionally applies wax to the bottom. I do it because it makes a huge difference in how fast the bottom turns brown in our sediment filled rivers. I've never been "scientific" enough to test if one last longer than another.

I also detail and wax the bottom of my boat. As far as type of wax I would use a pro product Like Adams, Chemical Brothers and others that have online shops to order from. I use a polymer type wax over a carnuba type for the bottom and use a machine. Really looks nice on the trailer.

We have had somewhat the same issue with the brown stains. Rather than try to keep wax on and spend hours doing that we have used a solution of Iron Out. Spray it on and rinse off it is a very easy process and the results are remarkable

all the best
