Crazy Crap on eBay....twin intercooler 1000 hp 454

The guy has two intercoolers and the second one is for freon!!! I thought I read somewhere that there was such a thing as too cold an intake charge....
I remember seeing these boats at the Miami show last year or 2001....check out the ling in the ad and watch the video...I wonder how fast that flying boat would have gone with 1000hp in it??????

seems kind of overkill to me.
1000hp seems pretty easy to get out of 572cid and a 10-71 blower with a normal intercooler and like 7 psi of boost......
hell merc makes a 1050efi engine witah warranteee why go through all the engineering crap running such a non standard (brekeage prone) setup???
