Default Why Performance-Boating Charity Starts—And Mostly Stays—At Home

For several good reasons, grassroots poker run organizers tend to fundraise for local causes, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...-stays-at-home.

Thank you for this article, Matt.

I work for Salesforce and as a part of my job I receive 7 days VTO (volunteer time off) and company match in donations up to $5k. This was a big driver for going back after leaving for another tech company.

If there is an organizer out there, I would like to use my time and company match to help someone’s cause. Specifically, I’d like to find a charity that supports kids with disabilities or at risk youth where I could potentially trailer my boat and take kids for runs.

If anyone wants to connect, please reach out. My home lake is Cumberland.
