Hi all I have a 2007 26 Outlaw. Question- the steering is stiff and I am hearing this is the way it is. Is this true? If not, what can I do to make it less stiff? thanks

Cable??? Add On Hyd?? or Full Hyd??

It could be the helm, in the rack or cables in between. Its hard to say without being able to feel how stiff. It might be nothing.
It shouldn't be any stiffer than any other single engine engine cable steering. Try to find another boat with cable steering and compare.
You would definitely like full hyd and full hyd keeps gimble rings from going bad since the load is on the rams and not the steering pin.
