Lake George

Planing for a 3-4 days family trip on the lake this summer. Wondering where I could crash truck and trailer as well as a suggestion for a good ramp to wet the boat. Looking for a secure place. Also any suggestions are welcomed regarding places to drop the anchor, swim etc... we spend the night on the water.
Thank you
Thank you

A few thoughts -
1) Prior to launching on LG, every boat must be inspected for invasive species. There are several inspection points around the lake. I'd suggest Norowal Marina in Bolton Landing or the one in LG village by Million Dollar beach. Norowal offers storage, but Million Dollar Beach does not.
2) Make sure you have mufflers. There is a noise limit on the lake and the Marine Patrol does carry decibel meters.
3) Speed limit is 45 mph, but generally if you keep it under 60 mph, you will be ok. Do not speed in the Narrows or in the southern basin, whether there is a speed limit or not. The Narrows are too tight and the bottom of the lake is crowded with tour boats, tubers, rentals etc..
4) Performance Marine/Saris Racing - Great guys and very helpful, but they will not launch you without an inspection and they do not provide that. Also, I'm not sure if they have space for truck/trailer storage. I suggest you call first.
Not trying to dissuade you and in fact, Ive boated there all my life. It is spectacular. Just do your homework as above and you will be fine.

Norwal in Bolton would be my pick , parking and the launch are good they sell the LG permit, it's pricy parking, permit and launch will cost you about $150 for 3 days plus you can tie up to there docks and walk into the village for bars, restaurants and supplies, Also look into getting a camp site on one of the islands they have a dock, firepit, picnic table and outhouse

Also what about Mossy point boat launch in Ticonderoga? Free launch. Can you leave truck and trailer for consecutive days? That’s what I am used to on lake Champlain. Safe for my gear there? I never had any issues at the Peru Dock on Lake C

I have silent choice as well. I'm told it is illegal and just having a switch makes it so, although I cannot confirm this.
However, Ive never had an issue. I use the silent choice at idle, or in no wake zones and flip the switch as I get on plane. All good. Testing is done at idle only.
I don't wan to make a big deal out of this. If you come with dry pipes and rip up and down the lake at 100 mph, you're gonna have a problem. I cant see your boat being a problem. Mine never has.
