Default Supercharged 565 detune for pump fuel question

So I am looking at a boat with a 565 Chevy with a blowershop supercharger and intercooler. Sorry I don't have the specs yet, but hopefully soon. My general question is, he says he has to run race fuel at 7 # boost as is. He is not the original owner of the build so I .second guess his information. If he is correct, of I reduced the boost to say 4 or 5 #'s does it sound logical I could possibly run pump gas with the correct tune?

I'm surprised he has to run it with anything more than 93 octane as is. A lot depends on the static compression ratio though.

Alot of unknown variables there. Base compression? Iron heads?

Camshaft. Aluminum heads. I will have to do a comp test prior to buying...

You could always tune it for E85.
I also think that 93 octane should be good.
My 598 is set up for an M4 Procharger with 8.6 to 1 static compression. I don't have to run more than 93 when I add the M4.
