Shortened Bravo Lower Testing and Upper Steel Tower
#1
Unfortunately, because of a family emergency, Tommy V will be unable to test the lower this season. He will be sending it back to me and I will test it here. The weather should hold out for awhile longer. Tommy will try it out next spring.
I have been building a new outdrive for DanB and wanted to install a steel tower, but I could not locate any on the aftermarket for a standard Bravo ( other than the super pricey ones ). So the Alfster and I got together and designed one. In order to increase strength, we made our tower with more threads so it will insert further in the shaft journal. I have already milled and threaded Dan's upper and will post some photos in the middle of the week.

I played around with it at the dock but never got the front (shoot through) transducer installed. I seems like there was always something else that needed worked on and I never got to it. The ones I have didnt seem to interfere with each other so they must be on different frequencies.Next summer

Do you still have my phone numbers?
