Combustion chamber clean up

i recently purchased some EQ heads and the combustion chambers are little rough.
what is the best tool / process to clean them up with out effecting them

Many ways however if your just wanting to polish up to help eliminate carbon build up.

i cleaned up my Edelbrock heads and added about 10cc so go gingerly, but I believe the EQ heads are better to start with.

Won't need low grit as shown in first pic. Just an example and handy for stripping gaskets etc. I use the DocaDisc all the time on a number of projects. Pic 3. Very handy. You can end up with practically a mirror finish if you wanna spend a little time. No hp gains however I understand what your up to.

Spray some water in the intake (while hot and running) give em a nice steam clean.

He didn't read the thread correctly. It seems he thought your comb chambers had a lot of carbon and schit that needing cleaning off.

That's pretty much the reason I went after my chambers, and I just enjoy putting nice pieces together. But with that said, I've never heard of anyone solving detonation issues with chamber polishing. It seems to be a pretty nil issue in the big scheme of things.
