MEFI 4 s all of those were black cased and 2 front J connectors. Silver was MEFI V for those years and E Controls was a tad later depending on engine serial numbers. . Indmar only used Mefi and E controls. I take it your engine is Emission controled with catalyst and O 2 sensor exhaust ?? would that be correct

MEFI V thru VII are silver cased. MEFI 1 thru 4 all are black cased

bup thanks - yes i believe it has the CAT. I see rinda lists the 94029 connection for CAT systems- so do I need the 9027 or 94029?

Indmar:
• 1992 - Up EFI engines:
1992 - 2007 (GM MEFI-1 thru MEFI-4) Adapter #94005
2007-2008 (GM MEFI-5) Adapter #94027 (will NOT work with PRO)
2008 - Up (CAN Network adapter for all catalyst equipped engines, also used on many manufacturer's 2008-up engines) Adapter #94029
2008-Up (Indmar ECM) Adapter #94027 (will NOT work with PRO)
2008 - Up (CAN Network adapter for all catalyst equipped engines, also used on many manufacturer's 2008-up engines) Adapter #94029
