Now that this is out in public, I'll chime in.

This all started at the Cigarette Rendezvous a few years ago. Cig customer said "Skip I want 6", Skip said "I can't fit 6", Cig customer said "make it happen". Apparently after a lot of work and dollars spent, Skip made it happen

Congrats to all involved, I'm sure it will be a BEAST.

And to answer the why 6 question................Because they couldn't fit 7

Cigarette definitely has been more aggressive with its reveals in advance of this year's show.

I'm sure the new boat will be a total beast but six engines? I'd need to be even more insane than I currently am (and quite a bit wealthier) to even consider 5 engines, let alone 6.
