A memorable raceboat is returning to the water in pleasure form, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...k-tommy-bahama.

From the OSO home page.

Glad they kept the trimax drives!
Did they not get penalized with 200lbs because they just kept winning back in the day.
Glad to see it out there again.
No shots of the stern?

It still shows up on the MTI page. Interested to see if they will eventually convert it to a 6+ seat configuration. Also interesting to see the nitrous bottles in the MTI pictures. Guessing these were used on the Duramax engines to get into boost and on plane. Looking forward to seeing it on the water! Cool boat with great history!

Wondered where it went all these years. On a similar note, where did the pair-a-dice MTI end up?

Coolest boat back in the day and still awesome after all these years! I'll never forget seeing it up close when they brought it to Lake Erie in Buffalo, NY back when it was new. Glad to hear it's going to get dunked again!
