Was really looking too just delete regulator on rail tap that for return line with aeromotive regulator in line. Then block the original return outlet on back of rail which is the top if i remember correct? Will this work?

I have a modified vortech factory modded adjustable regulator I would sell for $75.00 shipped to your door. I ran this for several years with electric fuel and you can adjust fuel pressure with it. I believe the bottom is the return not 100% sure as I am not looking at one. I then ran the bottom rail back to return in gas filler neck. or you can do what you are wanting to do. Your number 7 injector bore needs done regardless they are so tiny.

Awesome, the way Eddie does the rails is awesome. I have feed lines going in the front and the back and then the return still goes out the bottom. bottom and top are drilled from the outside then once connected together. he plugs the outside drill hole with a plug.. No aerated fuel bottom then goes to aeromotive regulator and fuel pressure is set there and then returns to the tank

Eddie is the expert and knows how to do the rail

As a non-expert
I just wonder why you can't just replace the VST with another pump and return excess fuel from the regulator on the rail back to the filter canister, similar like what happens in the Gen 3 cool fuel?

Pic is for reference only

Yeah I talked too eddie on the phone about it. He said for my stock mag what he dose is overkill. No reasoning for two feed lines into the rail and what I explained he said theres no reason for it not too work. People return too tank too keep the fuel cooler.

Was pretty simple to mod the fuel rail, I cut the factory regulator and the end of the rail off, drilled and tapped both ends, fuel enters from the rear then exits out the front to aeromotive adjustable reg. Look for my thread on it, I think I added pics of the process. Best move I did removing all that poorly designed crap.
