Hopefully this saves some people some money.
My hydraulic steering cylinders (Mayfair) were leaking out the rod seals. Upon disassmebly I found the rod end seals and wiper seals hardened and cracked. Thankfully the rod was in good shape and cylinder bore was in good shape. So I needed seals.
Some places want as much as $100 for simple seals (per cylinder, and couldnt guarantee they would fit/work) for these cylinders. McMaster-carr to the rescue again! $28 for seals for both cylinders. The toughest part was dealing with the jam nut wanting to gall. So I just cut it off and saved the threads.
