You should hit up BUP on here 100%. He’s probably forgot more about that engine than most even know not kidding. He can also repair the ECM/PCM 555’s and all the others. I’ve used him for a lot of things and he helps out with tech support after the fact too which is really nice! Also worth mentioning, I’ve read a lot of stories where owner had boat to multiple shops and countless months and dollars to still not be fixed then taken to or worked with BUP and fixed in a week. HIGHLY recommend!

DD thanks for plug about what I do. The 555's, I get them in all the time because something has failed internally.. Actually there is 3 main failures that can take place as it seems with ECM / PCM 555 s. Anyone of those failures or even all 3 can take place, and of course other issues can always happen. The key or a positive thing is, Im actually the one who works on the ECM s and also crawls around and fixes the engines as well so thats a huge plus.

Found out my 2002 496MAG-HO had a open recall when I purchased last fall. Basically states if engine will not shut off or no start the ECM has a internal issue. If it still runs then needs a harness pigtail installed. If it doesn't run needs the pigtail and ECM. I can check, and also BUP can with your engine number.

Problem fixed it was a blown fuse ( really a 2 dollar fuse.) thanks for giving time for the advice.the fuse is located in what looks like one of the many harness plugs.

got your PM just now asking for help, super glad you got it fixed because I have to add, its very hard to even help everyone on my end especially for free when I have so many paying customers.

. Want to ask thou --- the money went to whipple as they did not offer any help after the fact ? They did not offer to help you with your issues afterwards just asking ? I did not see anyone from whipple reply to your OSO post either. Did you PM them or email asking for help ?? They are prob busy like I am.

Will add really sorry for the late timeframe on my part seeing your PM for the asking help but I do have an excuse thou, I was helping out my paying customers. Sorry about that one..
