I Need a Favor
There is a Guy, Michael Mclaughlin that Lives near Branford Ct. that sold me a Bravo transom assy. on Ebay. There was a picture of a transom assy. and a Gimble ring but not the bellhousing, well in the add it stated included but not shown Bell housing. Anyhow I sent Mr Mclaughlin a Check and The next week UPS shows up and no Bellhousing! Well I repeatedly call Mr Mclaughlin and no returned calls. The Guy(MIchael Mclaughlin) told me on the phone that he also has a B-MAX drive to sell.ON Ebay right now is a BMAX drive with the bellhousing still attached. The ad is Similar, Same region same story only a different boat burned this time ,last time it was a 27 Fountain This time it is a CAT. I believe That Mr Mclaughlin wants to send me My Bellhousing, But Lacks the Skills and Knowledge to remove it from the BMax drive. Is ther anyone that might know this Gentleman ?

Rob,
If you think its a scam, or theft thing, I'll keep my ear to the tracks. I live in Branford, but i don't recognize the name.
No one should be ripping anyone off. Is anyone in the East "missing" an outdrive? There's been rumors of major theft in Clinton, CT.

Hi Rob, Bummer, ebay can be a risk. Check with Waterfoul, he was selling his old gimbal housing minus gimbal ring but maybe he had the bell housing with it.

Notice the guy's "feedback"? ( In your first link) It say's "private" next to his ID (Boatnic00) but when you click on "private" it shows he has only 4 feedback...ALL NEGATIVE! His explanation of that might be interesting.

Your second link shows a different seller ID (Porche928) with 5 negatives, 3 nuetrals, and 21 positives. Are they the same seller? If so, I'd stay away from him
