I have a 1995 chaparral 2330 with blown a gen 5 454 I have the opportunity to get a complete EFI gen 6. Would I be able to drop it in or are the wiring connectors and stuff different? Trying to make it as easy as possible.

All the wiring is the same, plug n play

Is the gen 5 carb or efi, there are some differences on the engine harnesses, need to check the cannon plug on the engines for the same amount of pins.

The original is carbureted.

Both manuals for 454/7.4 EFI/MPI show using the standard 10 pin connector

I could be wrong, has happened before, but unable to find anything other then the 10 pin
