It has been brought to my attention that from time to time drivers seats are rented to fill in drivers. I am super new to the sport but follow regularly and have a friend who throttles one of these boats. I am looking to rent a seat and see how it goes. I have ZERO experience racing a boat but I think I have it in my bones. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but have decent common sense and I ain't scared. Is this a thing? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Seat is filled apparently for the year.

Depending on the venue, both Ryan and Gary Ballough have seats come open occasionally. Others do too, but much more likely it would be one of these two guys. A few new boats out there so maybe some more opportunities will come up. Good luck.

BTW, that is exactly how I got started and it was an amazing few years racing that class.
