The 1000 Islands Poker Run has been held in the 1000 Islands Region, one of the best boating destinations in North America, for more than 30 years. The 1000 Islands region truly is a boaters paradise! The Canadian City of Kingston, Ontario has played host to PRA’s 1000 Islands Poker Run for over 10 years and has always proved to be a fantastic host city for this all-star event that attracts thousands of spectators and some of the fastest boats in the world. This is one of the most anticipated events for both participants and spectators!More than 80 performance boats will dock in the Confederation Basin Marina, on public display Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.You can view these spectacular boats at all the card stops, or from the comfort of your own boat as part of the spectator fleet. Weather did not cooperate this year. Half the boats went back to Kingston after the lunch stop at Brockville. The few boats that didn't head back to Kingston after lunch at Brockville were met with rain oh their return from Prescott.
