Rescue workers were in their fifth day of searching for Hanoud, one of two people on a boat that capsized in the wake of another vessel late Saturday afternoon. Brent Osborne, 42, of Middleboro, also was thrown from Hanoud’s boat. Both men were said to have been wearing life jackets at the time. Osborne was rescued soon after the accident and taken to St. Anne’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His FB says he worked for OL. And there are pictures of him in a Cigarette and a Sutphen. Just curious as to what boat and if there are any more details. Perhaps a mechanical failure? Spin, or stuff? Article says they were wearing life jackets, but no mention of inflatable, LifeLine, or in-between.

It was a 26 foot sutphen with a 572. I had just followed him on IG. It was him and his friend. So sad.

That was Larry’s Maximus. Super cool group of guys. Always looked forward to seeing him in KW. Funny dude that was always smiling and who had an amazing passion for people and boating.

Capsized In a wake, what the hell does that mean? The boat just swamped and two souls were lost? It doesn’t make any sense. Prayers for the family’s.

I was there immediately after, and have been part of the search. I was working our fire dept marine rescue today when he was found. When I get to a computer in a little bit I’ll post better details
