I did a search and couldn’t find an answer...I’m adding 3.3l whipples to my 100%stock 500EFIs this winter...bottom ends are fine going thru top ends... my question is, i have a pair of 651 cams, would they be too much cam for 500EFIs or should I look for 741s or should I just leave the stock cams in place since I’ll only be about 700-750hp with stock bottom end?

I think we talked before, I have family with a cottege /house in Canadian lakes near Hardy so we could probably meet up over there and run it on the water. Even better though would be for you to drag a motor over and dyno it so we could make sure everything's good and get tune close before going in boat. I just Dynoed a 502 w whipple sidemount for john lambrestge / polebarn racing engines over your way , hes at hardy alot camping, Smitty

You can PM me. I just built a pair and made 760 @5400. I can give you some cam specs and grind info. Was on 3.3 Whipple 509 with 088 heads. Warning! do not send your boxes to Whipple for a flash, they lock them and only a few people can unlock them. Actually 2 come to mind. Good tuners out there and can give insight but I can help with an cam as well.
