Have seen them but don't need one. Probably good for someone which has to move several trailers of different heights. I have a 6 inch drop solid hitch with 2 inch ball, and straight out no drop hitch with 2 5/16 ball. Use the 2 inch most with all trailers except one, and twice a year for the 2 5/16 with launching and recovering cruiser.

Aluminum hutches have broken. Were they overloaded? No idea. I had an aluminum hitch and replaced it with a heavy duty steel curt. One less thing to worry about imo.

They are rated at 1000lbs tongue weight and 10k trailer weight. That eliminates them for most twin engine BBC boats.

A buddy of mine just got one of these. Pretty stout piece and not too bad a price with all (3) ball sizes.

I have one and it looks like $hit .
Looks good as pictured for about 6 months.
I would not buy another one .

B&W hitches look great 3 years later

Like Drake said, buy a bulletproof and be done. Rated for serious weight, they even put your name on the key. Quality stuff
