So trying to sort out what’s more economical. The engine is set up with digital(electric ) throttle
boat is rigged with manual throttle and shift cables.
probably not as easy as just pull electric off and bolting on a manual Arm and bracket. That’s to easy.
has graffig controls shift lever and throttle lever.

if the engine is DTS then the PCM 555 is calibrated for that as well. That PCM will not work for a mechanical throttle and shift but it can be recalibrated or new one bought per that app set up. . Also the throttle body itself is not the same not even close plus its actually has a 5 mm bigger bore opening or maybe 10mm - its one of those - I forgot . Also there is NO IAC with a DTS engine nor an IAC muffler. All Merc 555 controlled engines with mechanical T/S need an IAC. Also there is bit more but his is the main jist of it. If new parts installed and labor you are easily looking at 5 K min for the complete install.
If you need more info I can help when needed for that end, have worked on both applications and very in the know of all these marine ECM s & PCMs and their calibrations. Wanted to make sure you knew about the PCM and the calibrations are not the same for a plug play switching over to NON DTS.
