Default Baffled by oil leak

Oil appears to be coming out of my head gaskets! The starboard side of the starboard motor is leaking. Oil is running down, covering the starter, leaking off the pan, and off the lower motormounts.

Distributor is dry, back of motor under intake is dry, back side of flywheel is dry (and we already replaced the rear main). No oil puddled around the valve covers.

I'm starting to suspect the head studs are weaping oil out, but I believe they go into water passages not oil.

Anything stupid I'm missing?

Merlin Blocks with dart heads.....

I'm baffled.

More than likely valve covers or intake manifold. It is amazing how far it will travel to fool you. Go to the auto parts store and buy a bottle of die and a cheap UV flashlight. Put the die in the oil and take it our for a ride and you will surely find the source.

Damn It. Wish I'd have thought of that before I pulled the motor this morning.

Starting to think it's intake manifold gasket at the rear. Maybe it's leaking out of the corner when running, running down back of block/edge of head gasket, running along the block when the oil pan mates, off the starter, etc.....
