Default Extension boxes on stepped hulls

Whats your thought's on Extension box"s on stepped hull's? Have a 30' Eliminator eagle and looking to try and stabilize above 88mph. hard to keep up on the pad,walks really bad.just changed from 280 to 380 tabs but haven't tryed it yet. was thinking box's my help keep the drives tucked in. Thanks!

Are you sure you don't have a prop problem? Too much stern lift will do some weird things and props are much cheaper to change.

Thats a good point,The boat wasn't that bad 2 seasons ago and last season I added 175hp and thats when it got outta hand.I am turning it around 5800+ now verses 5200 with stock 32 bravos.

Try changing the prop rotation . Also a lot cheaper than putting boxes on .

Try a pair of bravo xs or cut diffuser ring aka barrel on stock propellers. It wouldn't lift the stern as much.
if spinning in problem got worse your getting too much stern lift tabs ain't going to fix that.

I know tabs are not the cure but they can't hurt.
