trim tab goes up but not down. With both the dash switch and the trim tab switch on the throttle only hear a click at the pump but it doesn't run. Works fine for up with both switches. Other side is fine.

Your saying trim tab but since you have mentioned throttle, do you really mean power trim?

Trim tabs to me mean Bennett or K planes

Its pretty simple to test... hop in the bilge with your handy test light and have someone push the switch...green wire is down blue wire is up, got power when you click the switch to the solenoid ? Does the solenoid throw power? are the grounds good???

Just about sure it is a bad solenoid or a bad connection. Easy fix.

Sounds like a bad solenoid to me. I went through this same thing last year. I troubleshot it by swapping the solenoids.

solenoids are cheap, After loosing one last season, I now carry a spare in the tool box...
