Did Cougar ever make a 26' Sportcat?
Hi all,
I recently aqquired what is supposed to be a 26' Cougar Sportcat.
I measure the overall length to be 26 feet or 7.95meters.
Previous owner did not have any info at all...😖
Does anyone know if Cougar made such a boat? Cause I can only find info on 25 or 27 feet Cat's..

Are you looking at the site from Cougar custom boats in Canada (MTR 25 and 27') or Steve Curtis' family Cougar powerboats in the UK?
The Curtis family has built a lot of boats but I have no idea on a 26'.....you would have to contact the company.

Not sure to be honest, when did they start making MTR's in Canada? A wild guess on year of production would be late 80's or early 90's.
I've tryed to get in touch with Cougar by all means possible, email, phone, Facebook, etc.., even Steve directly but there is no respons. Are they still in business?
Unfortunatly OSO does not allow me to upload pictures yet😪

you need 10 posts in order to post pics.
The company in Canada was not affiliated to the UK...not sure if the Canadian co. is even producing anymore but the 80's and 90's was the heyday
