Hi all - long-time listener, first-time caller...
I recently made an offer on a 2003 Nordic Rage and was hoping to seal the deal this Friday. I love the Rage design, and one of the major selling points was that the construction is all composite and wood-free. Since my current boat has had a lot of rot issues it was a big selling point.
What I didn't appreciate though was that Nordic had switched over to wood-free around 2008. Does anyone on here know:

- Most importantly, where and how was wood used structurally - was it just the transom and stringers, or is the entire hull cored?
- Was it also used in decking, bulkheads, etc?
- I saw one post on here showing rot in a 35 transom - does anyone know of any other structural issues?

Only thing I can speak to is my boat which is a 97 heat...I have a build thread on here that you can see all the rot I found...my floor, transom, bulkheads, stringers are all wood. I had to replace a good section of the floor which you can see in my build thread and the ski locker bulkheads were rotten along with the backseat. You can easily access all of the areas in question and look/feel around for rot
