Default Loss of power and sputtering

hello i have a 19 ft boat with 350 mericruiser took it out the other day part way through my journey I would start to lose power at full throttle and the engine would start to sputter wojld this be fuel related like fuel filter or pump thanks

I am having the same exact problem . So comforting to hear other men of my age are suffering from the same symptoms.

What do you have for an engine model ? Year ? Merc Engine serial # helps.

How many total hrs ?
How old tune up parts ? Plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filters ?

Any diagnostics you’ve performed ?

Chaneed fuel filter and plugs still doing the same thing dont have engine number on hand but it has 420 hours on the engine
