Default Limited salt use

Hello all. I am serious about an 02 353 with 500 EFI's that has been fresh water for most of its life but last 20 have been in salt/brackish water. Never left in the water and flushed after each use. Immaculate boat. I know that there are plenty of salt or fresh or mixed use boats, and I hate to have 20 hours sway me away from a gorgeous boat. My mind first goes to the risers, but imagine that there are potential other issues to consider. Really appreciate the advice.

Risers and even CMI Headers are replacement limited lifespan items. The do NOT last forever. I would not base my opinion on any boat with that item only........

I just gotta say, I have a 353 (2006) that I bought new. It is lift kept inside a boathouse and has just under 300 hrs on it now...496HO's Long island south shore....so all salt water hours. I religiously flush it after every use. I replaced the manifolds and risers in 2018 for the 1st time....they were like new inside and out. Maybe it was the low hours, not the age? Eric
