Has anyone ever seen or used the "Marine Power" exhaust manifolds and risers sold by Marine Engine Depot? They look 100% identical to the IMCO Thumper Power system. They only come in raw cast aluminum so it is up to the end user to powdercoat, paint, polish, etc. They have a $1,095 price tag.

It seems that someone has some mold tooling at a foundry that private labels with different marine aftermarket vendors.

I didn't see any previous threads on this topic, curious to see if anyone know anything or has some feedback to share.

Don't know who came out with the design first, EMI has same but cost more. With EMI you can get stainless elbows

I have the marine power manifolds on two 454s with 177 blowers. Ten year old, last seven year in salt water only with no leaks. I don’t know if there’s a difference in them?????

I have a set of the Marine Power with less than 10 hours if interested

I was thinking the same thing....the EMI Manifolds look very similar as well but their aluminum riser/elbow looks a little different. The stainless risers/elbows are a nice option...



Thanks, good to hear some real world experience! I would imagine if they are a private labeled design that the aluminum material, casting and machining quality would be identical between the IMCO and Marine Power, just that the Marine Power is at about 1/2 the price of the IMCO. I was planning on color matching the powdercoat anyhow so if I go that route the Marine Power is looking like a better option.

Curious on your Marine Powers since you are running them in salt -- did you do any hard anodizing on them or powdercoat?

What are you asking for them? Any pictures? Were they run in salt or fresh water? I've got a 1992 Fountain 35 Lightning so I will need 2 systems...

Do you know if they are Silent Choice compatible? My setup is mostly stock and has the factory Merc Silent Choice, I'm not wanting to remove all the Silent Choice pump, vent solenoid, y-pipes, etc. at this point.

I've got a set of EMI silent choice stainless elbows that I changed out during repower (went +3's). Fresh water only but would probably have to go to EMI to use. Would sell for $700 + ship
