WOT for an hour= Blown motor

I guess it was bound to happen.
It was so nice out last weekend that I decided to get out & make use of the day.
I fired up the motor & let it warm up for a few minutes.
I nailed the throttle & it was running like a champ. The cool air gave it a few hundred rpm more than usual.
I was wide open for about an hour. I couldn't let up!!!
Well the whole time running at around 6000 rpm finally cought up to me.... BAM!!!!! Blown motor! Flames even shot out of the exhaust as it sputteres to a noisy end of its life....
Damn! That was a good leaf blower

Look, my advice is to rebuild it. You can bore that cylinder out, put in a high compression piston, and next fall, you can blow the leaves into the neighbor's yard without leaving the porch.
