Crower rocker arm - oil hole location?

I’ve got an oddity and wondering if it’s anything to be concerned with.
My Enduro rocker arm came in two set. I picked these up used from another member here back in 2019. Everything is in great shape so no concerns there. While going through the box for engine #2, I found the last rocker arm to have its oilier sitting on top of the rocker arm versus pointing toward the stud. It looks like newer Crower rockets arms have it on top but not sure of what I saw was a stock photo or the real thing.
Should I run it? I was thinking I’d call Crower tomorrow to ask but thought I’d ask here too.

Yep, 1.7, and aside from the oiler, they appear to be the same.
I guess I can cross that one off the list.
Now, onto figuring out valve covers. My Gen-VI’s are no where close to fitting.

He didn't really go into it... said it was a newer design and to not be concerned with the difference, just run it. I was jumping on another work call so I said thanks and let him go.

I'd think they'd have a reason but for me I'd think pointing the oiler at the stud would better flood the trunnion. From a design/cost standpoint, I can see using the top method if there really wasn't much of an advantage one way or anything. It probably costs more to drill the hole 90-degrees to the pushrod cup. If the oiling is the same, then drilling through the top is cheaper and faster. That's my thought anyway.
