Flooring advice
#1
I picked up a 35' Mistress and it just had some thin crappy hand cut carpet laid in it. Need to do something, either carpet or Sea Deck type decking. The base flooring that's in it though is the grooved 3M really stiff glued down stuff, has anyone ripped that up and cleaned up to a smooth finish for Sea Deck? Or should I go with Marine Mat that does a snap in Sea Deck type of thing? Or custom carpet? Any recommendations? QUALIN on here sent me some carpet he had out of his Top Gun and it was just a little off, the passenger bolster was set back a little in mine and the carpet wouldn't lad down quite right, was also too long in the back as well.

That's Perelli flooring. Cig was putting it into their boats in the early 2000's. At one time it was the HOT ticket and everyone wanted it. I never understood because it SUCKS to stand on and most people put carpet over it anyway.
I'm almost positive the Seadeck / Gatorstep can and does go right over the top of the Perelli without having to remove it. I like the look and feel of the seadeck we just had put into our Cafe.
Post up more pics of the boat. Looks nice. What year?

I don’t mind the paint scheme at all but someone did a cheap shotty job repainting the deck and it looks bad. They put “Tiger” on the side for some dumb ass reason and clear coated over it, which is another reason why it needs paint. Looking forward to shaping it up and it’s my first Cigarette, have always wanted one

either way. Congrats on the ride. You have a beautiful base to get it to where you want it! Looking forward to seeing your progress.
