Trim cylinder bushings

When I pick up on the drive there is some movement between the cylinder bushings and the shaft they slide onto, both top and bottom shaft. Is this normal or is the plastic bushing inside the rubber worn that much.

Yes the rubber bushings on each in of the trim cylinders. There are plastic sleeves inside the bushings. So yours has no play? I didn’t think there should be any play but I couldn’t image that hard plastic wearing that much. Oh well a new set of bushings is less than $100 which in boat speak is almost free.
