Default Coolfuel and VST Equipped?

Engine serial #OF884005 1996 7.4 LX MPI's with VST. Is the crossover from cool fuel so close they added the coolers and determined later whether not they'd install VST or Cool fuel? Seems I have the fuel coolers and they're not plumbed for fuel. Thinking of removing them to enhance water flow.

Doubtful. You sure that’s not your ps cooler that has been bypassed/unhooked.

That is not a fuel cooler. It has specific connections for regulator and the output for the pump. This is the cooler from the Cool Fuel module:

Gotcha thanks. Going to chuck them then since water is being restricted for nothing. Don’t see a reason for them anyway with mostly straight line cruising. Been just fine for 6 yrs, with no evidence of overheating PS fluid.
