hello, looking for advice on why motors 547s are running so fat?? seems like they always have,,,some info
1050 holleys,,92 jets ,all round,,blocked power valves,,msd set up..
714 lift isky cam,,big valves, 14044861 bow tie heads,,motors are fresh..
cmi headers
buddy said i need air fuel set up,,,but how can i add in a wet exhaust system??

neede a hotter plug??

are you running stainless tails ? hard to see in the pic, if so you can have bungs welded into them, moving to a #7 might help

Were the plugs pulled after idling?? If so, you just need the idle circuit adjusted. Jetting has nothing to do with idle.
You need to check plugs after running at various rpms with quick shut downs.

Without an PV's, you're for sure going to be rich at some rpms

hello f2,,,trying to post photo or two...thought maybe i can get a air fuel sensor at very start of my straight pipe from header to exhaust tips at transom..,,,what are #7's??
thanks for advice

the black extensions are not stainless,,4 inch exhaust pipe ,,,,,maybe i can add air fuel sensenor right before the water bungs....

A heat range 7 in the NKG plug would be a little hotter

Are they 2 or 3 circuit carbs? If they are 2 circuit you may need to jet down the transfer slot. Do you know what size idle jet is in them?

plug color is very difficult to read in a boat they look normal to me unless you run it hard then quickly shut off then wait for it to cool to even get to the plugs

hello ,,they are 12r-8795b holley 1050s...i dont know about transfer slot....all 4 jets are 92.

and dont know about 2 or 3 circuit carb...just know they are 8795"s...

sorry not that sharp on carbs
