Default Lake Cumberland questions

Going to the poker run for the first time,.
Going to have the boat shipped up and then ship out here to the west coast.
I'm signed up so have a slip for the event but is there some place safe that i can have it dropped off and then would launch and retrieve it since I won't have my truck?
any other things I need to know about?

Other than it seems like an awesome event

Is the shipper going to put it in the water for you? Will you be there after or before it gets there? I’m assuming you will fly in and have a rental car? You staying somewhere or sleeping on the boat?

Jamestown is closest to put in. Getting out on Sunday is a nightmare unless you are really early.
I go to every year and always have fun.

If you have any more specific questions, PM me.

A lot of variables that would have to be worked out but I am at State Dock, Have a slip and a half there. When is the boat being dropped off? When are you arriving? When are you departing? Will you be unloading it from the trailer and putting it back on etc.?

I think what he wants is a TNT, Performance Boat Center, Haulover Marina type deal. Send boat to facility. Have them fill and place in water for a fee. When done with poker run, have them retrieve, clean and tuck away.

H20,

We have a house in Burnside, which is toward the far end of the lake, so we always put in at Conley Bottom Marina (mid lake). It's a bit busier than a normal weekend, but considerably quieter than Jamestown or the State Dock. It's about an hour or so ride (in our boat) to State Dock.

What are you bringing in? How big?

Make sure to make Harmon Creek a POI for your stay on Cumberland during the PokerRun. Don't forget your beads.

Thanks. Brad.

Denny would be a good one. If he cant do it Lake Cumberland Marine has excellent facilities. They are at the other end of the lake but they have the capability to take care of you and the boat. Of all the places on the lake I would only trust these two.
