I'm in NJ and looking to upgrade to an imco. Wanna get some prices and try to figure out exactly what will work best for me.. Are there dealers around NJ or just go to imco directly?

I went though a reseller, there are 2 and they are pretty much (as far as i know) the same. going strait to IMCO costs more...

I put on the IMCO uni mount steering last winter.

What exactly are you wanting to upgrade to? It's going to cost the same in shipping no matter where you order it from, due to it shipping directly from Imco.

gotcha. I was thinking of getting an scx with the dual downshaft lower and adding hyd steering while I'm at it too

I’m looking into getting the SCX upper.

I ordered mine through Teague. Then when I serviced I shipped it direct to IMCO. Fred even called me to discuss my needs and shape of the drives, after 5 years of use.

What lower are you going to run? How much power are you running?

I have 500EFI that Jason at MDG built brand new. It’s a dart block 532ci - 545Hp 620 ft lbs. but I want to increase the power in the next couple years. Maybe whipple or some other option. I figure, upgrade the drive and get some money for the bravo one, then get the blower or something else for more power. But an SCX with the mild power I have now is a pretty reliable package (or at least I think that)
