Default Needle and Seat too big?

Order a new set of needle and seats for my dominator, because the original weren't sealing properly... I ordered a set of .120 inlet bottom feed styles but when they we came in they were .132 inlet. Is it possible to run too large of a needle and seat? What are the possible implications?
Thanks in advance

I can't see that larger needle and seats would cause any problems

Won’t implicate anything and will only help fill the bowl quicker if in need.

That's what I was thinking, the .120s are already a step up from the standard .110 but wasn't sure if theres a point you could be too big. Doesn't sound like it, appreciate the replies 👍

Pretty sure .110” good to 600hp and .120” to 1000hp. I have never had need fir larger so can’t comment. I do know the .120”are very popular from mild to High hp motors. From readings seversl carb people note tge larger .130” s are more particular about fuel psi’s.

I like to sleep at night by using things that are known to work vs worrying sbout things that sre unknown.

btw are those .130” viton tipped ?

I'm at 850hp so def need at least the .120s... Not sure Viton tipped, website didn't mention. I'm gonna call them tomorrow I think and get them swapped esp if sensitive to FP... Wonder how much this ethanol fuel messes with them... Even the Viton tipped ones.
I never see more than 6.5psi but like you said if their sensitive to that I'd rather not risk it, esp being single engine.

They also make two different size stems. I think the thin one is .040 and the other is ,080 but not sure. The thin one has a chance to hang open. I think the .080 works better.

I’m glad you posted this as a remember to myself to confirm that I have .120’s in my 1150’s. They should however assumption can be the mother of all fk ups as we all know.

Your worrying about nothing. The .136 won't hurt a thing. Set you floats with the new needle/seat assembly and go have fun.

I doubt he’s worrying about it! Just simply asking a question.
