Default Lake Ozarks Dock Sun Shade

Any suggestions on dock sun shades besides American Sun Control and Shady docks. not thrilled with the PVC pipe look on the bottom.

Put a grey conduit pipe in there if you don't like the white pipe look or paint it to match the color of the shade. Mine is 10 years old and still works perfectly. Whatever you put in there needs to be round to allow it to roll up. You could also do a fabric type shade that pulls straight up like a window blind. Be careful though, wind needs to pass through it, or your dock will become a giant sailboat. Had a neighbor put a solid wall on his dock to block the wind once. First big blow came in and the dock broke loose and swung around up against my seawall.

thanks
had to sunshades from guy in Laurie lasted about 6 months kept coming unrolled.

Mine were actually built by a guy in Lee's Summit. I have heard his since sold the company. Cannot remember his name. Between myself and a couple of friends, we have about 8 of them.
