It does not have an air conditioner, just a fan. The shore power is the 20 amp charge system for the twin 12V batteries, and the batteries can support higher current overnight when you are plugged into shore power. Sorry if that was misleading.

There is a large space in the entertainment center (where the portable cooler is) that might be good for an air conditioner. The space measures 17W x 21H x 26+ deep. I haven't looked closely at the 12V a/c systems, but I think there is an MES Marine system that fits.

I had a dometic 5000btc 120v ac on my 280 Velocity. Worked well.

assuming you sold the boat as it is no longer advertised. If not, let me know. Potentially looking at a 290 SC.
