Has anyone bought engines or had rebuild services from Robert (Bob) Oetringer of Thunderboats and Design out of Fort Myers Florida? Getting pretty close to buying some rebuilt 500HPs and was curious if anyone had any dealings they could share good or bad. So far he's been a great guy to work with and seems like a real straight shooter. Said he's been around go-fast boats since early 80's and figured someone on here has to of dealt with him before. If feedback is overly negative please send in a PM, I'm not looking to damage the guy's business.

Thunder Bob owned Thunder Boats back in the day! If same guy has machine shop on big lot in Ft Myers with many boats! He helped me out with a Big Block during covid he knows his stuff!
