Default I need a new motor. Where to buy??

Long story short, what I thought was a 454 GEN five mag turns out to be a low powered 454 with some mag parts. My motor is a ‘91 330hp 7.4L rebuilt motor with all stock components, total of 40 hours on the motor. Where does everybody buy their motors from? I’ve been looking around and only find scammer websites for engines. I boat at 6k feet in elevation. I’m looking for a 454 mag short or long block I can finish building or a complete 454 mag pumping out ~500hp ~550tq.
websites or people to contact would help me a lot. Will be selling my motor soon.

Watch the ads that show up here. I'd look for a 502 based engine. Be careful that you deal with a respected seller. 500 hp isn't going to come cheap.

My engine bay is tight. I don't know the physical dimensions of the 502 vs the 454.
