Question Speedo removal, feels like its glued in! DCB Mach 22 with Gaffrig

Hi, I have taken out gauges many times, and never ever had an issue. But tried to take out my Large Gaffrig liquid-filled speedo, and it does not budge. I would like to be able to take it out without damaging it.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance11

Call DCB and ask how they installed them and/or if there are any tricks to removing it.

thanks for the suggestion. Spoke to DCB, they were fantastic to chat with. They said the speedo might have been installed after they applied resin to the hole, so may need some force to get it out.

After talking with DCB, I used a rubber mallet and small piece of 2x4 and tapped around it and eventually got it out. The hole was so tight could not put it back in, had to take a file to smooth out the edges to get in again.

didn’t damage or crack the glass either.

Thanks for the help!
