Here is a shot of a Sunsation that was running in P-5. Very nice group of people. They finished 2nd in P-5.

Is that a 288?...Explain what P4/5 classes are compared to F1/2 classes....

Yes that is a 288. The boat is named "Wild Rose" and is owned/driven by Tom Barbato out of Long Valley NJ. "Wild Rose" won the P5 National Championship this year by beating out "Carrabbas", a 28' Pantera.
P5 is a speed bracketted class, boats up to 69 mph
P4 is a speed bracketted class, boats up to 79 mph
F1 boats all run 502/500 hp motors.
"Wild Rose" also won the High Points Championship in 2000?-I think.
