I will start this thread by saying that I have been out of the inboard market for well over 10 years and I am a little rusty on prices.

I recently purchased a 2005 343 Cobalt that I will be repowering with Triple Verados. In the boat now is a pair of 2005 496 HO's with Bravo One XR's.
This package has has about 225 hours on them and is a salt water boat. Ran the boat this weekend and runs well.

I am looking to try and figure out an asking price for everything inboard related.
qty 2 2005 496 HO's Complete with Manifolds
qty 2 2005 Bravo One XR's with low water pickups
qty 2 2005 Bravo Gimbles
qty 2 Corsa Captains Call Exhaust
qty 1 Imco External Steering System (2 Rams. Tie Bar, Hoses, and mounting hardware)

I have a number in my head and I am just curious what the inboard experts think.

I’d say your very close. Good starting figure but be prepared to negotiate a little for a quick sale.

Yes, but it will take time, probably a year or so.

3x300s = 900 HP, but twin 600s = 1200 Hp

which is more cost effective?

Probably too soon to ask, but are you leveraging the built in swim platform for the OB bracket? Or are you planning a redesign of the transom?

Ok, this is way too soon for build topics, but if you look at pictures of the rear of the boat the swim platform unbolts and the transom is flat.

Ill take a shot..........kind of hard to tell without pics salt eats everthing
